Meet Rachel Downing, Owner & Principal

In my heart, I 'started' Revive Design when I was a kid. I vividly remember picking out textiles for a quilt I made with my mom when I was 10. I remember going to the wallpaper store and flipping  through books for the  perfect paper and boarder (it was the 80's!) to bring it all together.  I loved the whole process. From that point on, I never stopped creating spaces that brought me comfort and joy.

When I bought my first house, and soon after married my very handy husband, Revive Design went to the next level. Now I could make changes that really transformed space! Four homes and four major renovations later I learned by doing...and created beauty and equity in each of my homes. In the meantime, I was raising my three boys and excelling in my career as a Human Resources professional.  Then in 2019 I  decided to leave my first career to be more available for my family, but it didn't take long for me to seek a path where I could apply my collective experience and capabilities.  That is when Revive Design went from being a personal passion to a reality.
